Microwave Hood Combinations

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

Microwave hood combinations combine a microwave oven with a ventilation hood. They free up counter space while also providing ventilation for electric and gas ranges and built-in cooktops.

A microwave hood combination can be installed as either vented or non-vented. Vented hood installations exhaust to the outside. Non-vented installations recirculate fettered air back into the kitchen. If the hood vents back into the kitchen, the air passes through a charcoal filter. While most hoods are quite easy to install, a non-vented, or re-circulating hood does not require an exhaust, so installation is even simpler. Both over-the-range combinations fit into a standard 30″ opening.

Wondering how to make homemade french fries that can be frozen and reheated later?

We just dug up a lot of potatoes in our garden and want to use them. Wondering if there is a way to make french fries that we can freeze and use later, like they use in restaurants and whatnot. Any suggestions helpful. Thank you!
